Old Harry Rocks Again

Todays painting is another watercolour of Old Harrys Rocks in Dorset. I wanted to capture the swirling water in the foreground. Size 27.5 by 18.5 cm

Another painting of Horsey Windmill in watercolour with body colour. I prefer this one.

Horsey windmill watercolour

This is painted on a gessoed watercolour block. This made the paint slippy but interesting and easy to lift. I used artists quality watercolours. Previously I had drawn a pen and wash building on this paper but never finished it so I applied a couple of coats of gesso to cover it up.
